Gift
Gallery partners with vendors and artisans that offer one-of-a-kind items with
a unique & upscale gift items. We
make a conscious effort to offer our shoppers a wide range of products for the
home, self, and gifts at various price points.
The range of products our vendors sell is carefully considered to
prevent excess cross-over and duplication in our shopping categories.
Many
vendors return to our show year in and year out by popular demand. However, every year we also add new vendors
to freshen up the environment and expand the mix. A completed new vendor application and
product samples or photos are part of the new vendor evaluation.
The
percentage of returning vendors to new vendors changes every year based on
variables such as sales totals, customer demand and seniority. This year (2009) we will feature 45
vendors.
Each
artist/vendor contributes 20% of their Gift Gallery sales to benefit the local
children’s charities that our event supports. The donation amount is calculated on gross
sales (including tax).
We
also request a donation from each vendor to be used at our raffle table that
generates additional funds for our charity recipients.
All
vendors must charge and pay sales tax for the state of Kansas.
All
donations are tax deductible.
Booth
spaces in 2009 will measure approximately 9’ (deep) x 12’ (wide).
Spaces
for our vendors are randomly chosen by the Gift Gallery Co-Chairs. Special consideration can be given for large
scale items, and electricity requirements.
Vendor
signs will be provided to be displayed at your will in your booth.
Vendors
should bring their own tables, displays, and merchandising accessories.
